Cook the spinach leaves
Drain, squeeze well, and chop
In a saucepan, melt the butter or margarine
Add the all-purpose flour and mix well
Gradually add the milk, cooking while stirring until thickened
Add the spinach
Mix well
Season with salt and black pepper to taste
Serve warm for 4 people.
