In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over high heat and sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent, about 2 minutes
Add the sausage, rosemary, tomatoes, chicken, and salt
Stir occasionally and cook until the chicken is browned, about 10 minutes
Add the white beans and water to the saucepan
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour or until the beans are tender
Remove from heat and let the steam escape
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley
