In a blender, whip the milk, egg white, cornstarch, and sugar until smooth
Heat the mixture in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens
Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, and mix well
Let cool completely
Assemble individual servings by layering whipped cream, fruit salad, and pecans
Repeat layers until all ingredients are used up
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to chill before serving.
