2 kg of cleaned octopuses
2 well-beaten eggs
2 cups of wheat flour
salt and black pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For the sauce:
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
4 diced tomatoes, seeds removed
1/2 cup of finely chopped green onion
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 mashed garlic clove
1 tablespoon of oregano
salt and black pepper to taste

Mix the octopuses with eggs
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper
Add the octopuses to this mixture, covering them completely
Arrange in a baking dish, side by side
Heat enough oil
Fry some octopuses at the same time until they're cooked on all sides
Drain well
Melt butter or margarine in a large frying pan
Add the tomatoes, green onion, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano
Season to taste with salt and black pepper
Cook for 3 minutes
Serve over the octopuses
Serves 6-8 portions.
