Sift together the flour, salt, and yeast. Reserve
Beat the egg yolks, add the milk and butter
Mix well
Add the sifted flour to the mixture and beat until smooth in a mixer
Beat the egg whites until fluffy and gently fold into the previous mixture
Preheat the waffle iron and pour in the batter, not filling it too full so as not to overflow
Close the waffle iron and let cook
Repeat this process until all the batter is used up
Serve with butter, honey, ice cream, chocolate syrup, fruit compote, or maple syrup (true or artificial)
