1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of passion fruit juice
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of passion fruit juice
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 cup of heavy cream
Soak the gelatin in cold water
In a saucepan, heat the passion fruit juice until it's warm but not boiling
Add the sugar and softened gelatin, stirring until dissolved
Remove from heat and let cool slightly
Whisk in the lime juice and heavy cream
Chill in the refrigerator until firm
When the mixture starts to thicken, gently fold in the beaten egg whites
Pour into individual serving cups or a large serving dish
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours
Serve with whipped cream if desired
