Milk
1 packet of active dry yeast for cake
1/2 cup (heaping) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (Americano) orange juice
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 cup orange gelatin
3 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, approximately
1 egg yolk
3 tablespoons water
Cinnamon to taste

3 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, approximately
1 egg yolk
3 tablespoons water
Cinnamon to taste
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and orange juice
Add the butter, beaten eggs, and sifted flour to form a dough
Check the consistency: the dough should be firm but still moist
Cover with a cloth and let it rest until it has doubled in volume
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, brush with orange gelatin, and shape the cake
Let it rise for another 30 minutes
Brush with egg yolk dissolved in water and bake in a medium oven for about 30 minutes
Dust with cinnamon on top of the cake when removed from the oven
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving
