2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

1 cup of sour cream
2 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Cook the cabbage slightly
Remove from the pot, drain, and sauté in melted butter or margarine
Mix the egg, sour cream, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper
Pour over the cabbage and simmer stirring until almost boiling; do not let it boil
Serve immediately
