Vegetable oil for frying

Fry the onion in butter or margarine until it starts to brown
Add the spinach and cook for 2 minutes
Add the flour, milk, salt, and black pepper to taste
Cook until thickened and pulls away from the sides of the pan
Remove from heat and let cool
Fill the sheets
Fold the two sides towards the center, overlapping them
Moisten the edges and press together, closing tightly
Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan
Fry each roll until golden brown
Make 8 rolls.
