2 cups of fresh spinach leaves
1/4 cup of softened butter at room temperature
200g of plate cheese
16 small round crackers
Salt to taste

Preparation
Grate the cheese and set aside
Wash the spinach leaves and place them still damp in a saucepan
Cook over high heat for a few minutes or until they are tender
Drain and chop well
Mix the cheese with butter and spinach
Season with salt
Cut each cracker in half and fill with the cheese and spinach mixture
Cover with a clean cloth and refrigerate until serving time.
