Peel the well-washed sweet potatoes thoroughly and cook them in sufficient water for soup along with the onion
After the sweet potatoes and onion are well cooked, pass through a sieve and take it back to the fire with olive oil and salt to taste
Let it simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes and then add the squash, clean and well washed
When it starts boiling again, let it cook for five more minutes and the soup is ready
After adding the squash, the pot should remain open to allow the squash pieces to stay green.
