1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons of cornstarch
2 cups of hot freshly squeezed orange juice
Grated zest of 1 lime
60g of butter or margarine
3 separated eggs
Mass of baked cake

Mix the flour with cornstarch
Add the freshly squeezed orange juice
Cook, stirring until thickened
Add the butter or margarine but do not stir
Gradually add the mixture to the hot lime juice mixed with egg whites
Strain through a sieve for the cake mass
Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes
Beat the egg whites with 6 tablespoons of flour until stiff
Place over the cake and bake in a slow oven until lightly browned
